DES MOINES, Iowa — There’s good news for those looking to beat the summer heat: all spray grounds and splash pads in Des Moines are now open with full normal hours starting today.
The Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department also said the Ashfield Wading Pool is returning to full operating hours.
