LE MARS — Centennial Hall is one step closer to demolition.
A services agreement with Eocene Environmental Group of West Des Moines to provide bidding and contract documents for the demolition of the Centennial Building at 1140 Third Ave. S.E. was approved.
Eocene previously performed an asbestos inspection and prepared documents for asbestos removal. The asbestos removal was awarded to Environmental Property Solutions and is anticipated to be completed by Sept. 29.
