DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa Workforce Development announced an increase in the maximum weekly unemployment benefit for Iowans, effective July.
The maximum benefit will rise to $763 for Fiscal Year 2026, up from $739 in FY 2025. This adjustment follows the annual review of unemployment insurance wages, as required by Iowa law.
