Governor candidate Sand travels through N’West Iowa

SANBORN—Rob Sand is no stranger to meeting people in N’West Iowa. For the last few years, Iowa’s state auditor has held town hall meetings in all 99 counties, including in Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola and Sioux.

Sand is continuing that tradition this summer as he runs as a Democratic candidate for governor. Some of his first stops were in N’West Iowa as he was in Sibley and Rock Rapids on Tuesday morning, followed by a trip to Sioux Center in the afternoon. He later went to Sanborn for an evening town hall at Yesterday’s Memories.

The Sanborn stop was the sixth and final one for Sand on Tuesday, which also included trips to Le Mars and Cleghorn…
