Cherokee, IA – Residents across northwest Iowa are being urged to stay alert as the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 10 p.m. today for several counties in the region.
According to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center, the watch was issued Monday afternoon and impacts Cherokee, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux, and Woodbury counties.
