DES MOINES, Iowa — One person is in custody after attempting to flee from police on the east side of Des Moines Monday evening, officials said.
DMPD said that just before 4:45 p.m., an officer spotted a car near Easton Boulevard and Hubbell Avenue, which matched the description of one involved in a hit-and-run “only moments earlier.”
