Weeks-long closure of I-80 exit in West Des Moines begins Monday night

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — A weeks-long closure of an Interstate 80 exit in West Des Moines will begin Monday night.

The eastbound I-80 exit ramp to 60th Street, exit 122, will be closed starting at 9 p.m. and is expected to last until Thursday, August 21, weather permitting. According to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT), the closure is happening so crews can patch the pavement.
