New date for hearing in social media, ICE lawsuit against Winneshiek Co. Sheriff

POLK COUNTY, Iowa — A contentious court hearing in the lawsuit filed against Winneshiek County Sheriff Dan Marx has been pushed back to September in Polk County court.

“The parties have been in communication and request a continuance of the hearing to allow the parties to continue further discussions to resolve the case,” a court document from Sheriff Marx’s legal team said.
