Alliant Energy Applies To State To Add 350 Wind Turbines In Iowa

(Cedar Rapids, IA) — An Iowa-based electric utility is planning to add enough wind energy to potentially power 350,000 Iowa homes.

Alliant Energy is filing an application with the Iowa Utilities Commission to add 1,000 megawatts to its existing 1,800 megawatts of power generated by wind turbines between 2028 and 2030.
