ANKENY, Iowa — Participants in Des Moines’ Emergency Department Residency Program got to experience an up-close look at emergency response on Monday.
This is DMACC and Unity Point’s second year hosting Doc Ops Day, which took place at the DMACC Ankeny campus. Residents donned firefighting equipment, practiced locating people in zero-visibility situations, broke through doors and ran through other simulated EMS scenarios.
