A Waukee woman was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Friday in connection with a June incident in which she allegedly harmed an institutionalized West Des Moines man in her care.
Yolanda S. Collins, 35, of 2308 S.E. Sydney Lane, Waukee, was charged with neglect or abandonment, assault causing serious bodily injury and dependent adult abuse.
According to court records, Collins was working June 1 as a medication aid in a West Des Moines assisted living facility when she had interactions with a “dependent adult” with “low cognitive function.”…
