Happy National Tattoo Day!
According to a new Google Trends map of the “most searched tattoo designs” in all 50 states over the past year, and the list is pretty basic. “Flowers” are #1 in 16 states, “names” are #1 in 13 states, “hearts” are #1 in 10 states, “roses” are #1 in seven states, and “crosses” are #1 in 4 states. Iowa is one of the 16 states who are on the digital hunt for flower tattoos, and I must admit, I’ve done a lot of searching for those over the years!
I got my very first tattoo on my 18th birthday as a gift from my then boyfriend, who was a couple of years older than me and already had several tattoos. What they say is true, you CAN’T get just one. So now, 16 years later, I have 12 total, and ideas for at least four more! Now if I could just come up with the money…..
