Cloud cover is rolling back into the region from the west this evening as upper level moisture makes its way overhead. Across Nebraska and Central Iowa, showers and thunderstorms will continue to track eastward along a stalling cold front through the overnight hours.
Most, if not all, of the energy and precipitation will remain south of the viewing area tonight, although a few showers will be possible for Hancock, Cerro Gordo, and Floyd Counties. Not ideal after last nights intense rainfall event, but any rain will be light and shorter lived…
