IOWA — Numerous rounds of rain during the weekend soaked central Iowa since Saturday morning. Severe storms fired up in the early morning hours of Saturday, dropping across Central Iowa and the Metro. This round brought gusty winds and a tornado warning for parts of the Des Moines Metro.
Heavy rain developed after midnight Saturday night to Sunday morning bringing flash flood warnings through Central Iowa.
