According to statistics from a report by Finance Buzz, the most stolen vehicle in the state of Iowa isn’t a car. It’s a truck.

The most stolen automobile in Iowa is the Chevy Silverado 1500. The Register reports that the Silverado was also the third most stolen vehicle in the entire US. Only two cars were stolen more than the popular Chevy truck.

The most stolen car in America is the Hyundai Elantra, followed by the Hyundai Sonata, according to the Register. What brand of cars are being stolen so far in 2025? The Register reports that from January through June of this year, the following car brands have been stolen the most.
