Arrest Made After Des Moines Home Shot 28 Times

(Des Moines, IA) — A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that damaged a family home.

Officers responded to reports of a group firing at a residence, with at least 28 bullets hitting the home. No one was injured in the shooting.

20-year-old Michael Hargrove was arrested and faces multiple charges.

  • Going Armed With Intent (Class D felony)
  • Felon In Possession Of A Firearm (Class D felony)
  • Criminal Mischief – 2nd Degree – 2 counts (Class D felony)
  • Burglary – 3rd Degree (Aggravated Misdemeanor)
  • False Report To Law Enforcement (Serious Misdemeanor)
