Armed Iowa man wanted in Lake Marie shooting considered dangerous by authorities

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office has classified Thomas Randall Cross, a 50-year-old Iowa man accused in the July 27 shooting at Lake Marie, as extremely dangerous and possibly armed. Authorities have issued a no-bond felony warrant for Cross’s arrest on charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Cross is described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown and gray hair, brown eyes, and a fair complexion. Photographs of the suspect have been shared on the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
