DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department is on the scene of a shooting that injured two people in the Mondamin Presidential neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
Sgt. Paul Parizek, Public Information Officer for the DMPD, said officers were called to the 1800 block of College Avenue a little before 6:45 a.m.
18-year-old arrested in connection to two Des Moines shootings, facing slew of charges
Two people were injured in the incident and one self-transported to Broadlawns Medical Center for treatment. Police said a woman suffered an injury to the shoulder, and a man suffered an injury to the leg. Their conditions have not been released.
