Governor Reynolds confirms Iowa National Guard will help with immigration enforcement

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds said the National Guard is preparing for a mission supporting Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to The Gazette.

Governor Reynolds told reporters the Iowa National Guard will help with clerical tasks. This decision was made despite protests around Iowa in support of immigrants.
