(Boone Co) One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Boone County Saturday afternoon.
The Iowa State Patrol says 55-year-old Bobby John Rodriguez, of Waukee, was driving a 2025 Honda SxS northbound on I Avenue. 74-year-old Wayne Melvin Reinhart, of Alleman, was driving a 2024 Chevy Silverado eastbound on 280th Street. Both vehicles entered the uncontrolled intersection at the same time due to tall corn blocking their view.
