(Indianola, IA) — A fire that started early Wednesday morning at senior apartment building in Indianola forced the evacuation of more than 80 residents.
Indianola Police reported heavy smoke in the hallways of the three-story building when they arrived and they helped with the evacuation. There were no injuries. The fire was confined to one apartment and firefighters were able to quickly extinguish it.
