One of the best-selling rock bands of all time, Def Leppard always knew how to push the envelope. They played a central role in the new wave of British heavy metal in the 1970s, infusing catchy pop hooks into their hard rock and glam metal in the ’80s and ’90s. They dominated the MTV airwaves with edgy music videos, and practically took over the music industry with their album Hysteria.
