Prairie City Woman Accused of Felony Criminal Mischief In Colfax Sentenced

A Prairie City woman accused of purposely driving her vehicle into the side of a Colfax man’s garage on August 10th of last year has been fined, and given suspended jail time along with probation. 53-year-old Jennifer Ann Conn was charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief, a class D felony. But Jasper County District Court records show she accepted a plea agreement, and pleaded guilty to a serious misdemeanor charge of 4th degree criminal mischief. Conn was sentenced this week by District Court Judge Brad McCall, who imposed a $430 fine, one year of probation, and 180 days of suspended jail time.
