DES MOINES, Iowa — The Pleasant Hill Diner alongside Rollin’ Big & Loud Events and Timeless Riders hosted a brand-new event to gather school supplies ahead of the school year.
Registration for the 1st Annual School Supply Car Show was a backpack filled with supplies like notebooks, folders, pencils, and glue sticks, or $25 to be used for supplies.
“It’s dedicated towards bringing donations for the kids that go to the high schools, the elementary schools that unfortunately can’t get all the projects and products that they need. So we’re doing a car show to help raise more products and stuff,” said Scott Rouse, the Owner of the Pleasant Hill Diner.
