Rippey Man Charged With Felony Eluding, Criminal Mischief For Friday High-Speed Chase In Dallas County

A Rippey man remained in custody this (Tuesday) morning after allegedly leading authorities on a high-speed chase last week. According to Dallas County District Court records, 30-year-old James Cody Foster is charged with second-degree criminal mischief and eluding at speeds 25 mph over the limit, class D felonies, second-offense operating while intoxicated and assault with a dangerous weapon, aggravated misdemeanors, alongside a slew of other traffic violations. Those charges stem from an incident on Friday evening in Perry. The incident began at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of 1st Avenue.
