DES MOINES, Iowa — Des Moines’ Forest Avenue Library at 1326 Forest Ave will be temporarily closed beginning Thursday, Aug. 21.
The library is undergoing a bathroom remodel project. Library administrators say that shutting their doors will allow the construction crew to shut off water to the building during the remodel.
Holds on books checked out from the library will be automatically extended during the closure, the library says, and all programming will be rescheduled…
