DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) – Nine-month-old Henry “Hank” Knobbe is one of many young patients at Blank Children’s Hospital. His face lit up when a group of superheroes visited his room Wednesday morning.
“Just to see him smile is pretty excellent,” said Ross Knobbe, Hank’s dad. “We had some tough days earlier, but he’s starting to feel better. Seeing him smile makes us feel better.”
These costumed characters are window washers at Larry’s Cleaning Service by day. They’re here not only to clean the hospital’s windows, but to see little ones light up…
