DES MOINES, Iowa — Two dogs are dead after a residential fire in the Waveland Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon, according to city authorities.
Des Moines Fire Department Lt. Gene Emery said crews were dispatched to the 4600 block of Kingman Blvd. at about 2 p.m. after a neighbor reportedly saw smoke exiting the back of the residence.
