A Monroe man arrested on two child endangerment charges for allegedly hitting his two minor children during an argument has been given a three-year deferred judgement. Thirty-two–year-old Cody Allen Rowland was sentenced this week by District Court Associate Judge Steven Holwerda. With a deferred judgement, the case against Rowland will be dismissed, and the court records sealed and considered confidential, if he complies with all court-ordered conditions during his three-year probationary period. Rowland pleaded guilty to a class D felony charge of child endangerment with bodily injury, while an aggravated misdemeanor charge of child endangerment was dismissed.
