Minneapolis shooting hits close to home for one Iowa community, pastor responds to tragedy

PERRY, Iowa (WQAD) – A shooting at a Minneapolis church Wednesday is hitting close to home for one Iowa community, WQAD reports.

A little over a year and a half ago, a school shooting occurred at Perry High School in central Iowa. Following the shooting, the Perry community came together to support one another. Reverend Andrea Brownlee hopes the Minneapolis community can do the same.
