DART proposes fewer routes under redesign of transit network. What to know

DES MOINES, Iowa — For the first time in over a decade, the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is doing a major overhaul of its public transit network. On Wednesday, the agency unveiled the first draft of the “Reimagine DART” plan.

DART could reduce its routes from 27 to 10 under the proposal.
