Representatives Zach Nunn (IA-03) and Suzanne Bonamici (OR-01) introduced the Promoting Apprenticeships through Regional Training Networks for Employers’ Required Skills (PARTNERS) Act, a bipartisan bill to expand access to work-based learning programs and create more pathways to high-quality jobs.
“Not every career starts with a four-year degree, and it shouldn’t have to,” said Rep. Nunn. “In Iowa, we know the value of hard work and hands-on training. This bill helps local businesses offer paid, skill-building jobs that lead directly to long-term employment. It’s a win for working families, employers, and Iowa.”
