Severe Storms Expected Across Iowa Late Today

The National Weather Service in Des Moines is warning of the potential for strong to severe thunderstorms across Iowa later today and into tonight.

Storms are expected to develop in northern Iowa between 4 and 7 p.m., then push south and east into central Iowa through the evening and overnight hours. The best chance for severe weather will be during the late afternoon and evening.
