The Dallas County Hospital has been named a Des Moines Register Top Workplace as well as a National Healthcare Top Workplace for 2025.
The new was announced last week as DCH employees enjoyed ice cream in the hospital’s atrium.
“Our organization works at several levels to try and develop programs, initiatives, events and more to foster a fun and meaningful work environment for everyone here,” DCH CEO Angela Mortoza told the assembled staffers. “From Warm Cookie Wednesday and free coffee from Scooters to free massages, a monthly free lunch, discounted gym fees, discounted childcare and more — all are products of feedback from this team on perks they’d like to see embedded in a broader benefits package, and we hope everyone has found at least one thing or more they enjoy.”…
