A vehicle was seen on fire along Iowa Highway 141 just east of the City of Perry early Monday afternoon.
A gold SUV facing westbound on Highway 141 had previously caught on fire, and as the Perry Fire Department was controlling it, there were visible plumes of smoke eroding from the front engine area. There were no other passenger vehicles at the scene, as first responders were there. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was detouring traffic westbound off of Highway 141 and onto “M Avenue,” while crews were cleaning up the scene…
