A Perry man was recently taken into custody on a warrant after allegedly assaulting a woman in early October.
According to court documents, the Perry Police Department responded to a call of a domestic disturbance at 2:21pm on October 4th. When officers arrived on scene, they saw 35-year-old Trayon Louis Allen Nash escape the house and took off in a 2014 Blue Ford Focus.
Court documents state that officers then spoke with the female victim, who admitted that Nash had been hitting her all morning, and the officers corroborated the story as they noticed visible red scratches, abrasions, a small laceration, plus small red dots to indicate being choked.
