CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – Rain overnight will give way to a week of cool fall weather.
Scattered showers are expected to continue through the overnight hours. There is also the possibility of a few rumbles of thunder as lows fall into the low to mid 40s.
Any rain moves off to the east by sunrise on Sunday. We get to enjoy a mostly sunny and breezy end to the weekend as gusts out of the northwest could reach or exceed 30 mph at times. This keeps our temperatures much cooler and very close to average. Highs reach the upper 50s and low to mid 60s. Lows Sunday night fall into the upper 30s and low 40s under mostly clear skies as winds die down…
