DES MOINES, Iowa — The Des Moines Police Department says a hit-and-run turned into a police chase through Des Moines which ended with a PIT maneuver.
Des Moines police say officers were called to the 3500 block of E. Douglas Avenue on reports of a hit-and-run shortly after 3 p.m. Police say that during the investigation, authorities located the suspect in a nearby parking lot.
The suspect fled the parking lot but was later spotted parked in the 2900 lock of E. Madison Avenue by a patrolling officer. The suspect fled authorities again and a pursuit was initiated…
