On November 2, the Knoxville Police Department was dispatched to the Cobblestone Hotel in response to a report of criminal mischief.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who reported that he had parked his truck in the hotel parking lot. The victim indicated that he discovered damage to his vehicle upon returning.
Officers observed that the driver’s side mirror and both tail lights of the victim’s truck were broken or damaged. During the investigation, law enforcement identified the suspect as Mark Douglass, a 23-year-old resident of Des Moines.
