Big Grove Brewery and The Big Grove for Good Foundation announced they will donate a total of $12,000 across three Midwestern food banks including HACAP in Eastern Iowa, the Food Bank of Iowa in Central Iowa and the Food Bank for the Heartland. The donation is made in part due to the loss of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits this weekend by many in Iowa, Nebraska and the greater Midwest. The foundation will also contribute $12,000 to Iowa City homeless shelters and service organizations in recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
