DMARC serves record number of Iowans amid SNAP benefit delays

DMARC said that on Monday it served 2,494 unique individuals, the busiest day in the network’s 50-year history. The record-setting day was the first open day for the food network following the announcement that SNAP benefits would only be partially funded and delayed for November.

According to DMARC, 1 in 3 of the people assisted on Monday are enrolled in SNAP.
