$1.2 million goal set for Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Salvation Army kicked off their Red Kettle campaign at the Jordan Creek Mall this weekend.

On Saturday, members with the Salvation Army, Santa and mall goers gathered for the ceremonial first coin dropped and spent some time enjoying holiday tunes and activities.

This year the Salvation Army is hoping to raise $1.2 million which will go towards critical services that help families through the holidays and beyond…
