WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (WOI-DT) – As the United States marks Veterans Day, a 98-year-old veteran in Iowa has been reflecting on his parachute jump over the beaches of Normandy, France on D-Day.
Don Poole celebrated a very special day inside his West Des Moines home as friends and family gathered to celebrate his 98th birthday.
