DES MOINES, Iowa — A new park opened up just south of Principal Park on 1st Street, but it’s not a typical park.
Des Moines Park and Recreation opened Riverside Bridge Park just three weeks ago, becoming the first park on a bridge in the state of Iowa, according to Deputy Senior Park Planner Colby Fangman.
