A West Des Moines man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly admitting to a law enforcement officer that he was in possession of four ounces of methamphetamine.
Matthew Anthony Leavy, 40, of 6855 Woodland Ave., West Des Moines, was charged with controlled substance violation, failure to affix drug stamp, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, first-offense OWI, interference with official acts and possession of drug paraphernalia.
