John Lorenzen, Fisheries Biologist with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, says temporary water patrol officers are needed at multiple locations around the state. He says water patrol officers check for compliance with Iowa’s navigation and fishing regulations and help ensure a safe recreational environment for lake users.
