DES MOINES, Iowa — A blog ranking Interstate 80 in Iowa as the most dangerous winter road has gone viral online, and now the Iowa DOT is weighing in.
Samsara, a California-based fleet management tech firm, has placed Iowa’s stretch of I-80 at the top of its list for dangerous winter roads.
The blog indicates their data shows a 625% increase in commercial crash rates during the winter months in Samsara vehicles.
