DES MOINES, Iowa — Holiday shopping events across the metro rescheduled for Saturday following last weeks snowstorm making for a weekend full of small business and vendor shopping.
Erika Worley, a Small Business Saturday Shopper, said that she planned her day out Saturday going to all the markets that were rescheduled due to the snow storm.
“We had family in from out of town, and they were going to stay all weekend and instead they fled. So we just made a whole list of everything that either got postponed or was happening this weekend anyway and made sure we came out,” Worley said.
