DES MOINES, Iowa – Officials with the Iowa State Fair have us dreaming of summer after revealing the first two Grandstand concerts for the 2026 event.
Fair officials made the announcement Wednesday morning that a powerhouse country star, and a rock and roll legend would play next summer’s fair.
Lainey Wilson will make her Iowa State Fair debut on Sunday, August 16th. The country star has received multiple honors this year, including Entertainer of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards as well as Album of the Year for “Whirlwind” and Female Vocalist of the Year.
Two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Rod Stewart returns to the fair for the first time in more than 40 years on Friday, August 14th. Stewart is known for classics like “Maggie May,” “Forever Young,” and “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy?”…
