(Des Moines) More Wintry weather is forecast for this weekend across portions of Iowa. A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at Midnight tonight through 3:00 p.m. on Saturday for portions of northwest Iowa, and then southeasterly through portions of west central, central, and southeast Iowa. Monona, Crawford, Carroll, and Guthrie Counties are on the southern edge of this advisory.

Along with the snow, bitterly cold temperatures are expected to start tonight through Sunday morning.
